Hereunder follows examples of some of the itineraries that we can offer – again a reminder that we will tailor-make any tour to suit you, whether it is fully guided, partially guided, a self-drive or just staying at one of the many golfing estates, we will do it all for you. Tour Example: 8-Day Johannesburg & Sun City
(This tour is ideal as a partly or full self-drive option)

Day 1
On your arrival at Johannesburg International Airport you collect your vehicle and check into your overnight accommodation. Here there are any number of accommodation options to choose from, from hotels, boutique hotels, guest houses and bed & breakfast establishments. This city is the heartbeat of the country. It's the economic and cultural centre of South Africa, where people work hard and play harder. Everyone is on the move, from doing business to hitting the city's nightspots until late. Johannesburg is a dynamic cosmopolitan city with great places to eat, interesting sites to visit and an excellent range of places to stay.

Day 2
Play golf this morning at the prestigious Houghton, Royal Johannesburg, or Wanderers Courses. Remainder of the day is at leisure. You may want to do a guided tour of Soweto, the Apartheid Museum or Gold Reef City or just some shopping at the many and varied venues in Johannesburg.

Day 3
Play golf this morning at the Pecanwood or Irene Courses.
You may want to do a guided tour of historical Pretoria or Cullinan (where the world’s largest diamond was found) or just some shopping at the many and varied venues in Johannesburg, or simply relax at your accommodation venue.

Day 4
Play golf this morning at the Glendower, Royal Johannesburg or Wanderers Courses.
Today after the golf you may want to visit the Maropeng Visitors Centre at the Cradle of Humankind, a World Heritage Site. The Cradle of Humankind was declared a World Heritage Site in 1999 due to the area’s exceptional contribution to our understanding of humankind’s history and development over more than 3-million years. All together, there are 15 major fossil sites in the Cradle of Humankind, of which the Sterkfontein Caves is the most famous. The fossils “Mrs Ples” and “Little Foot” were both discovered here, as well as thousands more fossils of hominids, which are human ancestors, as well as those of plants and animals.

DAY 5
This morning you check out of your hotel and travel to the Sun City Resort.
Stay at The Palace of the Lost City, or any of the other hotels in Sun City complex. Spend the remainder of the day exploring Sun City at leisure. Sun City, unique in the context of world resorts, with a combination of features unmatched anywhere, draws thousands of visitors each year to its four top-quality hotels, magnificent sporting and recreational facilities including two world class golf courses, and the magical Lost City water-park, The Valley of Waves. Situated in the bushveld of South Africa's North West Province, it is surrounded by the imposing mountains of the Pilanesberg.

Day 6
Play golf today at The Lost City Course. For the remainder of the day you can opt to go on a game drive into the adjacent Pilanesberg National Park and spend the evening at leisure at Sun City’s Entertainment Centre, which includes casinos, restaurants, bars, nightclubs and cabarets. Pilanesberg Game Reserve is in the Bojanala Region of the North West Province, adjacent to Sun City. Set in the crater of a long extinct volcano, the park ranks among the largest of the parks in South Africa and covers an area of 55 000 hectare. The beauty of Pilanesberg is reflected in a large central lake, the Mankwe Dam. Over time, wind and water have carved a spectacular landscape with rocky outcrops, open grasslands, wooded valleys and thickets.

DAY 7
Play golf today at the Gary Player Country Club in the afternoon. An optional excursion during the morning is a Hot Air Balloon Safari where you'll be collected at the hotel and taken through the Pilanesberg National Park to rendezvous with the balloon crew. The flight is approximately an hour's duration and on landing sparkling wine is served. A guided safari is then taken through the park to a game lodge where breakfast is served, after which you'll be returned to the hotel.

DAY 8
Today you check out of Sun City and travel to O R Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) for your onward flight.

MORE: You can add value to this tour by extending you holiday and spending some time at the Madikwe Game Reserve – this is the land of Herman Charles Bosman. The 75 000 ha Malaria free Madikwe Game Reserve is situated in the far north of the North West Province of South Africa, adjacent to the Botswana border. Three hours drive from Pretoria or Johannesburg, and about two from Sun City, it is now one of South Africa's prime wildlife safari destinations. The reserve consists of vast plains of open woodlands and grasslands, dissected by the rugged Rant van Tweedepoort, and bordered in the south by the Dwarsberg Mountains. The area is dotted with huge rocky hills or inselbergs. The entire reserve has been enclosed in a perimeter fence that has been electrified to prevent the escape of elephant and the larger predators. Guests are taken on conducted day and night game drives, very much along the same lines as those lodges in the Sabi Sands Reserve. Excellent accommodation is available at various private lodges in the reserve. There are no day visitor facilities; only residents at a lodge may enter the reserve.
Madikwe Game Reserve is home to more than sixty six large mammal species, including the Big Five, as well as cheetah and wild dog. The area has approximately 300 resident and migrant bird species along with a wide diversity of other fauna. It is one of South Africa's largest game reserves and has the distinction of being one of the few game reserves in the world to be proclaimed purely on the grounds of being the most appropriate and sustainable land use for an area. 
From here why not go just slightly north of Madikwe into the independent country of Botswana and stay and play golf at the Phakalane Golf Estate, which is under two hours drive from Madikwe.
